How to mine with TeamRedMiner

In this tutorial, you will know how to set up the mining software TeamRedMiner to mine cryptocurrencies on our mining pool.

What is TeamRedMiner

TeamRedMiner is an exclusively AMD mining software developed by Todxx and Kerney666. This mining software can mine cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Ravencoin, Grin, Zcoin and others. This is a command-line program. This means you launch it either from a Windows command prompt or Linux console or create shortcuts to predefined command lines using a Linux Bash script or Windows batch file.

Download the software

First, you have to download the software through this link. Make sure you choose the right file for your OS. If you are on Linux, take the file in .tar.gz, if you are on Windows, take the file in .zip. Unzip the folder and search your  mining file. After that, right-click on it and press Edit.

TeamRedMiner commands

Here are the most important commands which are required to mine cryptocurrencies with the mining software.

-a  or –algo

This is the command to define the mining algorithm you want to use for mining ethash, kawpow, cuckatoo31_grin, cuckarood29_grin, mtp


o or —url

This command allows you to put the mining pool address, for example, ‘eth.cruxpool.com’.

 

-u or –user

You have to put your wallet address and the name of your worker. This values must be separated by a dot, for example, ‘wallet.RIG01’.

 

-p or –pass

This command permits to put the mining pool password. By default, the value is ‘x’.

TeamRedMiner command line generator

Once you have the TeamRedMiner folder, edit the mining file. You must now put your generated command line. Type your wallet address and worker name and choose your OS. Copy the generated command and paste it on the mining file. After that, you can save it and close it. Finally, double-click on the same file for launching the mining file.
